Xero is Saas accounting software for small business that pushes the evolution of software. Just the addition of real-time bank feeds combined with their best-in-class reconciliation method has frightened their lethargic competitor (Intuit) into clumsily adding some bank feeds to their own small business accounting software. Everything that Xero does is focused on efficiency, simplicity and excellent design. This lowers learning curves and makes information more accessible in Xero than in Quickbooks.
